Our installation at this spectacular home in the Sutherland Shire is one of our finest projects to date. The residence is a 5 bedroom luxury home with majestic 180 degree water views over the George’s River. A property of rare calibre, this exceptional five level residence was designed for those who demand the very finest. And The Home Automation Store provided no less than perfection.
From the start, home security was paramount, which is why we chose the Inception System from Inner Range. This fully web-based system integrates perfectly with Control4 allowing the customer to arm and disarm the system from one of the touchscreens, or remotely from their mobile phone. We can also use the existing motion sensors to trigger other automations in the system.
From the first phone call, through to design and then installation, The Home Automation Store team put in long hours and days to bring this Control4 project to a superior level. This was a complete retrofit project allowing us to discover and apply new technologies. This house has Touchscreens on every floor, Televisions in every room and Keypads everywhere to control the lighting and automation.
Inside the home theatre we installed a cinema quality Krix MX-30 system hidden behind the projection screen and custom-made LED Star Panels and RGB led accent lighting on the ceiling. All of this technology is orchestrated by Control4 to ensure a seamless and easy-to-use experience.
For the entertaining area we automated the shutters so that they will open and close upon command and close if the winds exceed our thresholds. We also installed fan controllers and outdoor heaters to ensure comfort year round.
Audio entertainment was important to the client so we have installed a Whole Home Audio System comprising of 8 zones allowing them to play their favourite music, stream a podcast or listen to one of the 8 Televisions in their room of choice.
The client is in love with their home. They were concerned their guests would have a hard time using the touchscreens or keypads, but they have not had that problem. To the contrary their guests have been giving them nothing but compliments.
